Original Issue:
We are aware that Windows users with McAfee anti-virus installed are currently getting a false positive report of a potential virus within the Windows app.
Our Windows app (and all our other apps) are digitally signed so they can not be tampered with post production so they are safe to use. We have submitted the files for verification and whitelisting with McAffee to resole this issue. As soon as the issue is resolved we will update this post.
In the mean time you can still connect using the alternative L2TP conneciton method instead. To set this up login to your My Account area here > then select ‘Setup on my device’, choose the version of Windows your PC is running but instead of downloading the software, scroll down the the bottom and expand the tab that says ‘Setup an L2TP conneciton’ to try this instead.
We thank you for your patience whilst we deal with this issue and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
If you would like to be updated via email please submit a ticket with McAfee in the description and we will email as soon as we have an update.
