Smart TV Setup

Setup your Smart TV by using one of the methods below:

Option 1: Depending on if the TV has either Chromecast or Apple Air play built in you may be able to cast from your phone/tablet without needing to purchase any additional hardware. To see if this is possible setup the VPN on your phone/tablet and then select something to watch via one of the UK TV apps. Then tap cast icon (usually to the top right of the player). Tapping this icon will give you a list of devices that you can cast to. If the TV is listed simply select it to watch on the TV screen.

Option 2: You could use an Amazon Firestick. Firesticks offer a low cost neat solution and means your usual TV apps are not effected whist you have a separate remote and solution for watching all your UK TV on the TV. You would download our WatchVPN app, connect to the UK connection and then use the UK TV apps to watch both live and catchup from iplayer, itvx. ch4, ch5 etc. (If the Firestick is a non UK version it is still possible to download all the UK TV apps onto it).

Option 3: You could use the UK TV apps on your Smart TV directly by getting a mini VPN router (for example the GL.Net GL-MT300N-V2, search for it on your local Amazon market place to find current pricing). The mini VPN router would connect to your existing router and you would then connect the TV to its WiFi when you want to access UK content.
